Azka received her Bachelors of Arts and Science in Environment and Economics from McGill University. She subsequently attended the University of Ottawa, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2013. At the University of Ottawa, Azka received the Harry Beahen Q.C. Memorial Prize for the highest standing in Insurance Law.
Azka articled with a civil litigation firm in Ottawa. Since being called to the bar in 2014, Azka has practiced exclusively in the area of plaintiff personal injury litigation including serious and catastrophic motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle and bike accidents, slip and fall claims, long-term disability claims, Criminal Injuries Compensation Board matters and CPP Disability matters.
Azka has appeared on matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Social Security Tribunal.
Azka is dedicated to promoting access to justice to injured claimants. She strives to assist her clients in their recovery through her dedication and preparedness in understanding their needs while maneuvering the complex legal system.
Azka is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Law Society of Ontario.
In her spare time, Azka enjoys trying different cuisines and spending time with her family. Azka is fluent in Urdu.
